The round 48 V recessed wall luminaires combine compact dimensions with precisely coordinated light characteristics, creating versatile solutions for orientation, safety and architectural accents in outdoor areas. The unshielded variants are suitable for use in brighter environments as discreet orientation elements, with open light emission to support clear visibility. Shielded versions provide reliable markers for danger points and traffic areas, especially in low ambient light conditions, and their targeted glare suppression enables safe guidance through the room. The luminaires with asymmetrical flat beam light distribution provide wide-ranging, efficient illumination of the traffic areas in front of the installation surface and meet the requirements for Dark-Sky-compliant light guidance. Variants with asymmetrical light intensity distribution for spatial illumination concentrate the light distribution on the traffic areas in front of the installation surface, ensuring clear guidance and good visibility in the dark.
An installation housing is required for installation; depending on the structural situation, variants are available for brickwork and concrete walls or for hollow walls. Additionally, the right adapters allow the installation of 48 V luminaires in existing recessed housings of previous versions with an 80-mm diameter.
The luminaires operate at an operating voltage of 48 volts and are powered by an external power supply unit. Several luminaires can be connected to one power supply unit. The selected power supply unit variant also determines the controllability of the luminaires – as an on/off version or a DALI-controllable version.
