The Bagdad Portable Lamp revives Mathieu Matégot’s expressive 1954 design at a compact scale. Its perforated metal shade and base filter the light into a gentle patterned glow, creating a distinctive accent for tables, shelves and sheltered terraces.

Light source: dimmable LED G4, 250 lm. Three-stage touch dimmer. Rechargeable battery; approximately 3-hour charge time and runtimes of 8 hours at full output, 15 hours at 50%, or 50 hours at 10%. Supplied with 200 cm charging cable. UV-resistant finish; keep dry and charge and store indoors.

Designed by Mathieu Matégot in 1954, Bagdad demonstrates his celebrated Rigitulle technique, in which perforated sheet metal is formed into light, sculptural volumes. The rechargeable edition is approximately half the scale of the original table lamp.
